OK did it all again. I'm afraid the results are the same. Vouk shows in V22 but even though it shows in V23 "about" area, it does not appear anywhere in the render options dialog.
I have the dll: voukoderproplug\voukoderproplug-vegas23.dll
Here: C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 23.0\FileIO Plug-Ins
And: VoukoderProVEGAS23-x64.fio2007-config
Here: C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 23.0

Did you check the "Show all Formats" check box?
Yes, I had done that already and mentioned it in my first post.
Here is the image I could not upload when I mentioned it in the first post.OK I ran the analyser and it scanned all 6 of my SSDs. The only thing it showed was:
FFmpeg DLLs: Not found in PATH
I will check this and post back.Oh, I wish I could edit posts here. I should add that it scanned all 6 of my SSDs but Vegas exists on my C drive. I have no idea why it needed to scan all the other drives. Anyway, will post back. Cheers.
Ok checked the sys environment vars and both:
C:\Program Files\VoukoderPro\C:\Program Files\FFmpeg\
Appear at the top of the Path list
Also, the var: VOUKODERPRO_HOME contains C:\Program Files\VoukoderPro\Also, after checking using cmd:
>ffmpeg -version

I just noticed the VEGAS internal encoder DLLs are "Language Neutral" whereas the Voukoder Pro plugin language is "English (United States)". I'll check that tomorrow if this is relevant.

English (United States)
English (United Kingdom) here.
But working fine in V22. -

So now I have the same issue you all have: Plugin is not visible anymore, but still listed in the components dialog ... and all I was changing was the DLL info in the Resources.rc file.
EDIT: ... and when I revert my changes it is visible again! So it is not in the code, this is just depending on this single file and the DLL info/properties.
2nd EDIT: Can please all guys where Voukoder Pro is NOT running in VEGAS Pro 23 please try this update and tell me if it helps?

OK now the plugin is visible in V23 Render Window. Great stuff.
Unfortunately, now get the same error as with the beta version of Vouk 3. Rendering starts and then V23 crashes.
fwiw: Works as expected in V22, using the same Vouk scene and project settings. (Just one small media file for testing). -

Good news! Let's see if it helps other people too.

fwiw: Works as expected in V22, using the same Vouk scene and project settings. (Just one small media file for testing).I had the same effect. There was an error message box in the background open. This was because my license file was for the other version and i had to replace it. can you check this? Or if it is something else please copy the logfile please.

Voukoder is now showing up in the render dialog in vegas pro 23.
A render test was also successful.
Thanks a lot!

It seems this fix was finally successful. It just took me 7 years to fix this. Phew ...
I have applied this fix to all VEGAS Pro version of the 2026 release.

Project frame rate can't update after rendering, In version 22 when you change the frame rate it exports the same frame rate as in the project settings, can you check if this a bug pal

Thank you very much.

Hi,
I bought Vegas Pro 23 a few days ago, an upgrade from Vegas Pro 22 where I used Voukoder everyday for quick renders.
However, I now deleted everything and started from scratch. So first I installed FFmpeg GPL thing, then installed Voukoder Pro 2, then downloaded the Voukoder Pro 3 files and pasted into my directory. "show all formats" is clicked and so many render options show up but Voukoder is totally missing.
Feel free to add me on discord, I am happy to screenshare and show you my screen if desired: dominator0897
Thanks

First, I hope you meant with "Voukoder Pro 3 files" actually this file VoukoderPro-2_VEGAS_Pro_23-v3.zip.
This should be copied over the VEGAS Pro 23 directory and install the new Voukoder Pro plugin there.
Otherwise it's never good to mix different versions of tools.
Please tell me the version numbers you have installed.
-
Confirm V2 working in V23.
(with the new VoukoderPro-2_VEGAS_Pro_23-v3 files copied to the correct places), Nice one.

Ok so now I've done this:
1. Installed this "FFmpeg.8.0.GPL.Installer.msi" from https://github.com/Vouk/ffmpeg/releases
2. Installed this: https://d.voukoder.org/VoukoderPro-2.0.14.msi
3. Installed this: https://d.voukoder.org/VoukoderPro-2_VEGAS_Pro_23-v4.zip
Now I open Vegas 23 Pro, go to render, show all formats, still no Voukoder showing in there. I am using Windows 10, 64 bit.

Almost ... You have to install FFmpeg 7 to work with Voukoder Pro 2.
Just uninstall FFmpeg 8 and install FFmpeg 7.x
