Moving the subject, sorry
Version 0.9 should bring a drastic performance boost with CPU based encoders (i.e. ProRes).
Version 0.9.1 introduces first "Chapters from Markers" support for DaVinci Resolve Studio.
VoPro now auto-detects which NLEs are installed. Awesome.
Thanks for all your work!
I have just two questions:
- In the ENCODER list, i can't see x264 and x265 (hardware encoders).. it's normal?
- Where can i found my VoukoderPro license key?? I've some limitations if i don't register into the program?
Thanks again!
x264 and x265 will not be included in VoukoderPro.
I will also remove the licensing information again in the next release.

NOOOOOOOOOO!! Why?? LIcenses problems?
I'll look into it.
Hi Vouk, is it possible to add support for Vegas below version 18?
And, now that you have decided to open source VoukoderPro, will x264 and x265 be added back?
Many thanks!
Keep support for Vegas 15 please.

VoukoderPro is currently LGPL and x264/5 is GPL. So both licenses are incompatible.
But I've planned a change VoukoderPro makes all encoders available the ffmpeg.dll s support.

This is really upsets me as a regular x265 user.
Wow, this is really a long list!
What's the implication of the _mf suffix for h264 and hevc? Google is being surprisingly useless.
_mf is the Microsoft "Media Foundation" Framework.
Are x264 and x265 in this list?
I haven't encoded in a long while (like a year) and just downloaded the Pro version to try, but I haven't been able to find a way to use x264 (I'm a big fan of CRF as a perfect way to ensure desired quality at lowest bitrate consumed), and haven't found any instructions to help (the whole scene creator thing is new and unusual).
the whole scene creator thing is new and unusual
Yes, but is much more flexible than the old method.
Are x264 and x265 in this list?
No. They are incompatible with the new license.
