Das gleiche bei mir! Die zuvor installierte Version 2.3.4/0.2.0 wurde deinstalliert und sämtliche Registryeinträge gelöscht. Bei der Installation erfolgte keine Fehlermeldung.
Habe voukoder-2.3beta5_fixed.msi und 0.4.1installiert

I guess, if you start vegas-connector-0.4.1.msi again and click "Repair" everything is working?

leider nein, habe sogar das System nach repair neu gestartet.
Habe 2.3.5fixed und 04.1 deinstalliert!

Please try vegas-connector-0.4.2.msi. Fixed a bug in it.

tut mir leid, connector wird in Vegas Codecliste nicht aufgeführt.
Die Installer landen an der richtigen stelle (2.3.5/C:/Programme - 0.4.2 im Vegas Order FilesO Plug Ins Vegas.

Ich habe das gleiche Problem. Die Vorversionen des Core und Connectors wurden zunächst deinstalliert, dann eben die aktuellen Builds runtergeladen und installiert (2.3 Beta 5 fixed und Connector 0.4.2). Nun taucht Voukoder nicht mehr in der Liste der Renderer von Vegas Pro 17 (Build 353) auf, auch nicht nach Windows-Neustart.
Inklusive Deinstallation alles wiederholt durchgespielt, Voukoder taucht nicht mehr auf.
Im Programmordner von Vegas Pro ist die Voukoder-Konfig-Datei vorhanden, ebenso die Voukoder-DLL im FileI/O-Ordner.

- Uninstall the Voukoder connector for VEGAS
- These files / directories should not be present anymore
- C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 17.0\FileIO Plug-Ins\voukoderplug\voukoderplug.dll
- C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 17.0\Voukoder-x64.fio2007-config
- These files / directories should not be present anymore
- Uninstall the Voukoder (Core) component
- There shouldn't be a C:\Program Files\Voukoder directory anymore
- Open regedit.exe and confirm this entry is not present anymore
- Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{E9661BFA-4B8E-4217-BCD8-24074D75000B}
- Reboot your machine (Just to be sure)
- Install VEGAS Connector 0.4.2
- Confirm it is installed in "Apps & Features":
- These files / directories should now be present
- C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 17.0\FileIO Plug-Ins\voukoderplug\voukoderplug.dll
- C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 17.0\Voukoder-x64.fio2007-config
- Confirm the version number is indeed 0.4.2.0
- Confirm it is installed in "Apps & Features":
- Don't install voukoder core, just start VEGAS
- You should see this error:
- Click OK three times
- Voukoder should be listed in the About dialog:

I just followed and repro-ed your steps 1 - 4 right as you described. It's fine until here. And this is the text of the config file:
Code[FileIO Plug-Ins] voukoderplug=FileIO Plug-Ins\voukoderplug\voukoderplug.dllWhen doing step 5 – opening Vegas Pro 17 – it differs. No error message appears.

also ich bin wieder zurück zu 2.3.4 und Connector 0.2.0 da funktioniert alles
wunderbar und warte lieber auf die Final-Version. Meine PC/IT Kenntnisse sind
nicht so gut, um als Tester arbeiten zu können. Vouk macht hier eine klasse Arbeit, die uns am Ende ein klasse Plug-in liefert.

@MajorBubble If 0.4.2 is installed and you replace voukoderplug.dll with the one from this zip file, does that work?

In the Vegas Pro File IO Plug-ins folder I replaced this file. Now when starting VP17 the error message shown in you description appears. But when I click "Ok" no further message appears.
I then also installed the Voukoder core and tried again. Still no luck, it's not in the render list.

Alright, it's getting clearer now.
Does installing the runtime libs help?

Bingo, that was it. After having installed the runtime libs and having restarted Windows, now Voukoder is available again in VP17.

I created a new set of installers that should include this package now. It should be automatically installed now.
