    Voukoder 11.2

Make sure you are using the latest connector for your application(s). For using NVENC (SDK 11.1.5) encoders driver version 471.41 or later is required.

    Fixes / Changes

    • Using NVIDIA SDK version 11 (This might drop support for older GPUs)
    • Built everything from stable sources again -> 20220725

    Hi Vouk,

11.2 fails to render anything for me. At least x264 and x265 as well as Nvenc h264/h264.

It says: Failed to render the audio samples.

Rolled back to 11.1 and I have no problem there.

    Fixes / Changes

    • Migrated to NVIDIA NVENC SDK version 11 - You might have to update any saved settings!
      • This drops support for older GPUs
      • You are required to use the presets p1-p7 now. See: https://docs.nvidia.com/video-technolo…igration-guide/
      • The NVENC options "CBR_HQ" and "VBR_HQ" got removed. Please use "CBR" and "VBR" instead.
      • The "2pass" option has been replaced with "multipass"
    • Built everything from stable sources again -> 20220725
    • Audio issues fixed

    Hi Vouk,

I am using version 11.3.2 now. I have 2 PC for Editing on Adobe Premiere PRO. Version 22 built 169.

Plus sometimes I am using After Effects.

Tell me please what version of Voukorder will be better for these (not so fresh) cards?

First PC has NVIDIA GTX 770 - Gigabyte GV-N770OC-4GD (rev. 2.0)

Second PC NVIDIA GTX 970 - ASUS STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5

Please also let me know how will work and what version of Voukoder better for this new card -

    GIGABYTE|GTX 1660 SUPER|6 GB|192 bit

(It looks like our old GTX 770 has sometimes problems. If it really stops, I think I will buy 1660 Super).

    Thanks!

With Voukoder version 11.3 we migrated to NVENC SDK 11.1. This has dropped support for a couple of older GPUs.

In case your GPU is affected please continue to use 11.2 for that system.

Any idea when we might be getting CRF for SVT-AV1?

I think to remember you saying it needs FFmpeg 5.x, so I get it's not a over night change.

I have on both editing PC with Adobe Premiere Pro these cards now:

    NVIDIA GTX 970 - ASUS STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5

And it looks like with Voukoder 11.3.2 these cards working well.

With right settings for Nvidia and Cuda / 30 minutes length program takes Export to 2160p about 17 minutes. And 16 minutes to 1080p. Quite good speed for me.
