I am very grateful to you for this extension. I think its the best extension for normal video editor and every one should use this. And there is a suggestion about adding AV1 support not HW because HW encoding is not available yet. You might add it on latter version but add lib Support for software encoding. Loves

I already prototyped to implement the Aomedia AV1 encoder. It was basically working, but encoding a single frame was around 2 minutes. It makes no sense to implement it at this point. Once the encoders are better i will add it!

Is it possible to implement rav1e? It is significant faster than libaom. But I think it could be difficult because it´s not build in ffmpeg.

Thanks for answering and you are right its ridiculously slow I just thought I should mention that because there was no talk about AV1.
