ive received an email that BorisFX brought a bunch of MAGIX IPs, Vegas Pro being one of them.
VP2026 is the latest Release, was trying a demo, and Voukorder Doesn't show up as a render. I was curious of this be a planned feature update at some point

This news is pretty new to me. I have to discuss this with the new owners first, and we'll see how it goes. With the insolvency of Magix mostly all of my contacts there have left.
I can't even find the VEGAS Pro download section for my VEGAS Pro 17-23 licenses on their website anymore ...

OK good news:
I have the full (licensed) version of Boris Vegas 2026 installed and running.
Voukoder Pro 2026:I simply copied the config file:
VoukoderProVEGAS23-x64.fio2007-config
from:
C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 23.0
to:
C:\Program Files\BorisFX\Vegas Pro 2026
And the folder:
The folder (that containsvoukoderproplug-vegas23.dll)
voukoderproplug
from:
C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 23.0\FileIO Plug-Ins
to:
C:\Program Files\BorisFX\Vegas Pro 2026\FileIO Plug-Ins
And Voukoder Pro 2026 works as normal.
There was no need to change any file names, or edit the config file, as the relative paths are still the same.I did get a firewall warning when rendering but it worked. And that will only happen once.

Makes sense, they've been fire-saling Vegas Pro licenses for years. So you can bet the new owners will go to a subscription-based licenses instead, like Adobe.

My Boris license is a permanent one, not subscription based. (My initial post/test was using the trial version. I bought the full license last night, once I had confirmed that everything works smoothly.)
are you suing the 2.x version or Vouk 2026?
I am using Voukoder Pro 2026, I have added some extra info to the post above, in case it helps.

I am running the trial version of Vegas Pro 2026 and was able to get Voukoder Pro 2026 running using Funghie's copy method with no errors.

Yes, I have also trial version of Vegas Pro 2026 and I also made Voukoder running sucessfuly with Funghie's method and no errors. Rendering is going well.

Maybe the problem is with language version of Windows which has impact on Vegas Pro 2026.

Yes, it seems that's the old issue VEGAS Pro has with Voukoder since the very first version of Voukoder (Classic). For some reason (and only for some users) VEGAS Pro doesn't want to load the plugin as an exporter. I currently have the same issue on my currently in-work Windows on ARM64 build (Surface notebooks). I'm debugging the issue together with the Microsoft support.
