What format does Vegas send data to the Voukoder?

What video format does Vegas send data to the encoder, specifically Voukoder? RGB, YUV? 8-32 bits? Rec709? Limited range or full?

So, as I understand it, the encoder "tells" Vegas what format it needs?
And what about rendering to AV1?
I'm asking because I'm having trouble sending the full-range color range to the encoder. In the Vegas settings window, the Color Range field doesn't seem to work at all (in the case of Voukoder).
