HECV (x265) YUV 4:4:4 (12 bit) corrupted result

  • Every time I try to render any resolution other than 1920x1080 with YUV 4:4:4 (12 bit), it corrupts the video, I don't know if this is a bug, I will attach examples. (the only changes in this files are the "color format")

    Files

    • Test Files.zip

  • Perfect examples, thanks.

This might be related to an issue with the actual encoder.

    • Can you provide a voukoder logfile with low-level debugging enabled?
    • Can you try using "Matroska / MKV" as container format?

  • Ok, here you go, the files as you request.

Edit: I think the problem affects more "color formats". Adding YUV 4:2:0 (10bit) to the list

  • Hello, I tested a little more and practically all "non standard" hevc color modes had corrupted results with this aspect ratio. Did you discover something with the files?

    Added the Label In Progress

Removed the Label Adobe After Effects
  • I was about to write it's a bug in the connectors' pixel format conversion code. But then I rendered a 1920x960 HEVC 4:4:4 12 Bit video successfully with the latest version of Premiere.

    Can you confirm?
