First, some context:
I use Vegas Pro 26 for editing. As a VJ, sometimes I need to render to wider unusual pixel formats;
Vegas Pro available native codecs can´t handle these wider pixel formats, so I need Voukoder Pro to render my videos;
I need my final output to be rendered in DXV (mov) format. Vegas Pro 26 can´t anymore. Voukoder can, but without Alpha Channel;
So, I need to use Resolume´s Alley to convert all my videos from Voukoder Pro Res 444XQ with Alpha to DXV High Quality with Alpha.
Issue:
Vegas Pro 26 recognizes and reloads the Voukoder rendered video just fine (Alpha Included). But when I load them into Alley to be converted, Alley identifies them as 442 with no Alpha available.
Alley does work fine with Vegas Pro ProRes renderings but not with Voukoder´s. And I must use Voukoder´s due to pixel format.
What am I missing?
Thank you!
Paulo

To my knowledge Resolume Alley identifies the codec tag for the correct ProRes variant. Can you test if this build fixes the issue?
https://d.voukoder.org/VoukoderPro-x86_64-2026.2.4.msi -
Uninstalled Voukoder. Installed the "...2.4.msi".
Sorry to say, it got worst: now Vegas can´t recognize any alpha when importing the previous rendered file.

Can you please share the MediaInfo of the exported video?

Can you change the "Codec Tag" property from "apch" to "ap4x"?
-
Done that before. Did it again. Same results.
-
But the previous version VoukoderPro-x86_64-2026.2.2, at least Vegas was able to see the alpha.
Now... neither Vegas or Alley -

It shows 4444XQ but still no alpha recognized on both. Just to be clear.
Thank you
