I wasn't sure that a one pass libx264 VBR encode was possible since the strategy list only has CRF, CQ, and CBR. But if I choose CBR and give different bitrate and max bitrate values, I get VBR. But I don\e see a two pass option. There is a fast first pass option and a stats option though. I know that Vegas does not support two pass anyway but Adobe Media Encoder did (at least in 1.x). Is two pass possible in Voukoder Pro 2.0? Thank you.

You may find a way to do this by doing 2 separate renders, the first render (CRF) would only export the analysis data (qp for x264), the second render export (VBR/CBR) needs to import this analysis file, I haven't tried this since video exports are usually "quality first". The render export is controlled by the video editing software, not by voukoder, which is kind of impossible to do it automatically.

The original Voukoder was able to do this for x264 by exporting first the analysis file and then reading it in again with the 2nd and final render. But not many people are using this nowadays.
