Just to confirm, installed and running and render is working as expected so far.

The new version contains some smaller bugfixes.
Great stuff thank you, will report issues.
-
The new version 5
I think you mean b7?
Anyway, as you mentioned, deleted previous Vegas 23 render templates as they were not showing any Voukoder scenes in the dropdown. (Expected)
Recreated my Vegas 23 Voukoder templates by using the default YUV supplied Voukoder templates and choosing my scene(s) and saving as new Vegas 23 render template(s).
All working as expected. -
Can you tell me/us what did you do to get it working?
Yes, I did, it is all in the post above.
- Create new presets in Vegas and then was able to select my VK scenes.
- Make sure Override filename in the scene itself was NOT checked.
See first post.
-
I know. Don't worry.

I'll check the issue. This got most likely introduced with the audio delay input box ...
Thank you for your understanding.
And btw I should mention that once I did get everything working, the rendering seems to be working really well now in V23
I am attaching my 2 main scenes in case they are of any use to you. (Feel free to edit them and of course if you want to distribute with the app, you are welcome).

OK Thanks

btw. The license renewal thing was not a complaint; it was just part of the report.
-
Had to request new license again (that's the 3rd time now - no worries).
Initially after installing b5 my previous templates in Vegas 23 were showing no Scenes available in the dropdown list in Vegas. This was also the case in b6. Look at render template and go to the dropdown list that allows a VK scene to be selected, there is nothing there.
I then created new presets in Vegas 23 (using the YUV presets that are supplied with VK) and was able to select my scenes in the drop down OK.
However, when rendering, Voukoder was sending a message saying, "No Scenes Selected". (Even though a scene was definitely selected).
I persevered for a while, following the above steps, and found that one of my Scenes was being recognised by Voukoder and still worked for rendering.
Eventually I traced the difference in the scene that was causing the issue:
It was the Output FILE area in the Scene Designer. If "Override filename" was not selected (checked), then the scene is not recognised by Voukoder when it comes to rendering in V23.
I hope the text I supplied is easy enough to understand.Cheers,

thanks a lot, i got them and will try importing and see what happens.
They are both built for very high-quality render using nVidia GPU but at least you will be able to see how they are put together.

Here's a couple of my scenes. You can open the designer and import them:
Phil NV 15CQP.scene2 files sent via WeTransfer, the simplest way to send your files around the worldwe.tlThis is a WeTransfer link, I only have a free account so it is valid for 3 days max.

Actually scrap that, I have no idea what to do haha.
Basically I now get these few YUVA options, whichever I clicked, I go to customise template which then opens Voukoder (designer thing?) and then I have no idea what to click in order to change the settings. If I just try to render by clicking one of these YUVA options then it says No Voukoder Pro scenes are defined yet. Please Create and select a scene first.

All seems so much more complex than when I had Vegas Pro 22

Yes, you need to create some scenes. I have always thought it would be handy to have some default presets already created there.
I could upload some of mine for you, but it is not possible to attach files in this area of the forum, and I really don't want to use filesharing. -
Here are the steps that worked for me in case it helps:
- Uninstall everything from Voukoder and FFMPEG (Check in C:\Program Files that there are no FFMPEG folders)
You have to choose one or the other - I am currently using the V3 2026 beta option below. (But I did both these and they both work - just not together):
For Voukoder version 2:
- Install the FFMPEG GPL version that is available on the Voukoder V2 DL page
- Install VoukoderPro-2.0.14
- Get the zip file: VoukoderPro-2_VEGAS_Pro_23-v3.zip and copy those files as instructed into the Vegas 23 folder
- Start the Designer and go to Register and make sure you are using the V2 Licence
- Start Vegas 23 etc.
For Voukoder version 3 2026 (beta):
- Install the FFMPEG version 8 that is available on the beta DL page
- Install Voukoder 3 2026 - latest beta, in this one there is an option to install to Vegas 23 as well as Vegas 22
- Start the Designer and go to Register and make sure you are using the V3 2026 Beta Licence
- Start Vegas 23 etc.

Installing and running great stuff. Rendering did seem to be a lot slower than previously, but I think that might just be at my end. Anyway, bottom line 2026 working in V23. Well done.
-
I fixed the VEGAS Pro plugins in Voukoder Pro 2026.
That's great, I was wondering if the fix might roll over from V2. Testing it now. Will report back,
-
Confirm V2 working in V23.
(with the new VoukoderPro-2_VEGAS_Pro_23-v3 files copied to the correct places), Nice one. -
Sorry, also got confused. Can you move this to my report about V3 failing to render in Vegas 23?
-
Just to update here:
- Uninstalled Vouk V2
- Reinstalled the latest FFMPEG8 and v2026 Voukoder
- Reinstalled Vouk V3 (2026)
- First thing I notice is that FFMPEG 8 now installs to: C:\Program Files\FFmpeg 8 (as Vouk mentioned elsewhere). So, need to uninstall v7.1
- And the correct entry is in the Path Sys Env Var
- Had to request a new V3 license as the old one didn't work (Vouk did mention this might happen)
- Unfortunately, although V3 shows in Vegas 23, the render still fails. Crash etc.
- V3 works perfectly in Vegas 22
If there is anything I can check please do let me know.
-
Hi this is not solved, at least not at this end
V23 is still crashing on render with Vouk, sorry. -
Yes, that is fine. I only mentioned it in case it was relevant to the crash.

-
Hi, there are a lot of log files in:
AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\23.0
I will email them to you as they may contain sensitive data.
Indecently the issue with the scenes seems to have fixed itself. When I go to customize each of my render templates, it now shows the correct Vouk scene. But then when I open the scene, scene designer is blank. (not sure if this is relevant / or expected)...
-
Checked and double-checked license in Scene Designer and in \AppData\Local\VoukoderPro\license.txt
License is definitely my license for Vouk V2
I can repro the crash on render every time, but no log seems to be generated. I will attach the last log but I think it might not help.
Also, anomalies?- Select my Vouk preset in Vegas
- Click customize
- Then Open Scene Designer
- The Scene Designer shows blank page
- Load my Scene into the designer
- Save As but still shows blank
- Also, when selecting another Vouk preset in Vegas and clicking customize
- The Scene that is showing the Vegas customize dialog is always the same scene
Sorry, there is no way to upload a log file or zip file here in this forum. I don't want use file sharing I will email it to you. With title "Log from Funghie".
Cheers,
