when installing 2.0.9 even if you deselect After Effects, in next dialog you can't leave after effects path empty (he says you to insert a valid path).
also I hope you'll be able to fix amf encoding parameters

Yes, I am aware of the installation path issues. You should be able to enter any path, the AEX will not be installed if deselected. Don't know how to fix this yet.
I do not know any AMF issues. There are no bugs reported.

The path of the disabled component is now going to be disabled / greyed out. That should be helpful and reduce the confusion. Also it is set to C:\ when not used to stop the validator from complaining.
