Voukoder Pro won't authorize after update

    Hi, I just upgraded to the 2026.01.18 Version of Voukoder and... it broke for me.

    My log says

    2026-04-12 17:07:49 (info) Validating license ...
    2026-04-12 17:07:49 (error) Please license this product!

    I own a licence, and it shows in my Registration window (I have censored it of course)

    but it doesn't show up in the "About" section. This is completely empty. I did not censor this window. :)

    I tried reinstalling Voukoder but it didn't help.

    Is it maybe possible to somehow remove the existing licence file itself from my computer, so I can just insert it again?

    Is it stored as a file? Or somewhere in the Windows registery?

    I have checked you transactions. You have bought a license for Voukoder Pro 2.x last year. You can use this 2.x license for an unlimited time.

    The license is stored at %LOCALAPPDATA%\VoukoderPro\license.txt.

    Voukoder Pro 2026 (or internally Voukoder Pro 3.x) requires a new license.

    That makes sense! Thank you! Some people are dumb (like me), so it would be useful to include a pop-up reminding users that they need a new license. :) Will upgrade now! :)
