Any update on the regular-style GUI? I lost my copy of Voukoder "Classic" and I really want to render videos beyond Adobe's tooling without needing a PHD to do so.

I'm working on my todo-list. But if this get's implemented it'll be be in version 3.x which will most likely get released in the next year.
Still, It's not so complicated. Read the quickstart section of the documentation: Create a simple scene, double click on both encoder nodes and the UI is pretty much the same from there on.

Yup, if I'm just doing a quick render I'll often use Voukoder Classic. No muss, no fuss, quick and easy to change a minor option like audio bitrate on the fly.
Pro is more powerful, no argument there, and I use it regularly. But sometimes simple is what I need.
