Can't find Voukoder in the export tab

  • Hi!

I have davinci resolve studio and needed to export a project in pro res.

I've downloaded and uploaded the ffmpeg and voukoder pro app (using the free trial) in the self-created folder 'IOPlugins' in the programdata/blackmagicdesign/etc... However, when going to the delivery page in DaVinci, 'voukoder' does not show up... Have I placed the folders in the right place? I've browsed the web and it seems like I did, but there has not been much info out there since the paid version came out.

    Thank you for your help!

    Approved the thread.
  • Are you using the paid version of DaVinci Resolve?

Did you verify the installation path of DaVinci Resolve is correct in the Voukoder Pro installer?

Does this directory exist and is it not empty?

    C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support

    Does this file exist:

    C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\IOPlugins\voukoderpro_plugin.dvcp.bundle\Contents\Win64\voukoderpro_plugin.dvcp

  • Thank you for your quick reply

I have the paid version of DaVinci.

What is the optimal installation path? I was not sure about it, but perhaps the screenshots below can help.

    The ...\support directory does exist.

The file mentioned does not exist. I downloaded the Voukoder Pro windows 2.0.5, but I must have failed at something when installing it, hence why it's not there...

Thank your for your patience and help. Do you have an idea where I've not done it right?

And I do run it on a Dell XPS 15 with windows 10 and x86_64.

I have figured out the issue.

When installing Voukoder Pro I did not select the DaVinci plug in to be installed straight away.

Apologies and hope it helped others!
