Confused little bit here. So I can't use 13 if my driver is lower version than that? Or just SDK 12 won't be used? I'm still running Windows 7

You can't use NVENC (NVIDIA GPU accelerated encoding) with an older driver.

So I gotta stick to the last version that supports it then? That seems to be 11.3.1

Why is the author of the voukoder silent though?

What version driver is it? You may have to go all the way back to 11 as you indicate if you can't update the driver. Or just use x264 or QSV through Voukoder and don't worry about NVENC.

The author here isn't under obligation to provide technical support and may well have other things to do!

After rendering a video project in Vegas Pro 20 (365) in the format 3840x1634 25fps. The audio is out of sync. The audio lags behind. The further the rendering is, the further the audio is out of sync. I render with Video:project default (4:2:0 8 bit) Audio: Project Default. What am I doing wrong

What the hell are you on about? What techincal support? Simping doesn't always happen to Twitch. What a simping weirdo you are. I'm simply asking if a lower version of NVENC (SDK 12) will used or not instead? That's it. It's a yes a no queston

How did you determine it is out of sync?

How are you playing it back exactly? In VEGAS? In a media player? This introduces decoding as a variable.

Thanks for clarifying. If you had tested in in VEGAS by re-importing, the sync depends on the decoder in use (we discovered that in a prior thread).

Can you share mediainfo for the file that you output? https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-h…erties--104561/

Why are you being hostile? Older versions of Voukoder use older SDKs that correspond with older driver versions.

The developer doesn't owe you personal support so stop acting so entitled.

The developer also has nothing more to add to what has already been said.

Why don't you go experiment on your own? You seem good at solo activities.

Changed the download link back to version 13 because of Output file is not playable on Windows . libfdkaac support is missing there, but at least we get playable files. Version 13.1 is still available on github if you need it.

    Hello!
In the front-end interface in DaVinci 16bit ProRes appeared. But in the back-end, only 10bit is still available. Does it mean that 12\16-bit ProRes output is in development? Can we expect it?

P.S. I saw your message that BMs did not answer your question in the forum. By experience, they are very supportive actually, but any kind of forum questions can be easily missed. If you need some info from BM team and did not try to contact the support directly, I would highly recommend to do it.

I might have missed this, sorry.

In DVR you can select the format and resolution how the frame data is sent to Voukoder(-Pro). Voukoder itself then does the conversion to the desired output format. To my knowledge ProRes does not support 12/16 bit data, but other codecs like i.e. FFv1 do.
