Voukoder ignored the "Render with maximum bit depth" option before beta3. If activated now it uses a very expensive render path. If you uncheck it you should have the old speed again.
-
Fixed in 2.0-beta4.
-
Yes, confirmed. The encoder expects a 10bit pixel buffer as input.
-
Perfect! You could all work together on that! Merci!
P.S.: The translation of all the encoders are final. I expect no further changes.
-
Thanks, fixed that little issue.
-
Glad that it helped! From beta3 on you'll eve get an error message mentioning this level issue.
So I guess eventhing is solved here?
-
Great! Well, I am sure some users will prefer having a UI in their native language. But that means that there should also be the possibility to always switch back to english, right?
And yes, it'is not final. But it will never be final. There will always be new texts to translate.
Would you like to be the official translation maintainer for the french translation file? Or do you want to do the first big initial translation only?
-
I can not help you without the necessary information.
But make sure you don't set a "Level" option. Make sure it is unchecked.
-
So who wants to volunteer for managing the translations of his/her native language?
-
I thought about it too.
I'd like to create a new "Translations" subforum where people can discuss and improve the translations.
I also need a volunteer as translation maintainer per language who is organizing and managing the translation and submissions from all users.
These translation maintainers will be credited in the "About" tab with their real name.

Yes, this is only relevant for NVENC encoding.
To compile the FFmpeg project I need for voukoder I also need the nv-codec-headers (https://github.com/FFmpeg/nv-codec-headers). These make use of the NVidia SDK. This driver version was the first driver version supporting SDK 9.0. Maybe I could even go back to SDK 8 and make it compatible with a driver version < 400. Did not test it yet though.

BETA 3
Fixes:
- (libfdk-aac) Fixed libfdk-aac encoder
- (x264) Fixed rate control selection issue when reopening editor dialog
- (x264, x265) Pixel format limits profile selection
- (x264, x265) Fixed error that settings cannot be saved
- (nvenc) Min. required driver version is 418.81 (and remains!)
Changes:
- Added "Render with maximum bit depth" (But it's REALLY slow!)
- Added a logfile GUI tab
- Improved the "Could not open encoder" error message
- Added filesize estimation from version 1
-
Fixed in 2.0-beta3.
-
Alright, let me guess: This happens with x264 and x265 only?
-
Can someone make a small video showing the steps and final issue, please?
-
1.) Added it again. Though it is very inaccurate and only works when using encoders with bitrates.
2.) Seems like a duplicate of Parameter resets to default ?
3.) Please provide a screenshot of your exact settings. Which encoder are you using? What container format?
P.S.: One topic per issue next time please.

With R2 it is possible to add support for many languages. If your language is not supported right now you can do it. Or maybe group up with other people from your country.
All you need to do is to translate this file. Keep the translation keys on the left side and translate the words on the right.
KEEP THE FILE STRUCTURE AS IT IS.
