Voukoder Pro Designer won't launch unless I have both FFmpeg 7 and 8 installed

  • When attempting to launch Voukoder Pro Designer, I am asked to have both avcodec-61.dll and avcodec-62.dll installed. After installing both dynamic libraries, it launches fine.

FFmpeg 8 is required as per the documentation. Why is 7 a requirement? I don't understand the need for both versions.

  • You're right, this doesn't happen. I got the versions mixed around.

I didn't have a grasp on avcodec version numbering and just started installing random FFmpeg releases until Designer opened. I am an ape. Forgive me.
