Hi folks....been doing many different NVENC 8k encoding tests lately and using PSNR comparisons to just my encoding profiles.
What advanced settings does anybody recommend to pack the most quality into the maximum 512 Mbp/s NVENC profile for 8k.
I have noticed that even with constant bit rate, sometimes I can reach 512Mbp/s on some of my videos but others with the exact same profile might only reach 350Mbp/s. I noticed that making these changes "can" force higher bitrates:
Buffer = 512000
lookahead = 1024
Profile = 6.2
But what about other advanced settings like AQ, B frames, P frames and quantizing options. I'm happy to hit 512Mbp/s when I can but I hate to see videos fall way lower then that for some unknown reason.
Any settings I can set to send to force higher bit rates?
