I might add this once it is ready and working reliably.

Currently I do not have time to build another plugin. Maybe later.

This is planned already:

• As a user I want to have easy to use presets for each encoder available to use.
• Redesign the User Interface

Voukoder is an exporter plugin only. it does not improve rendering nor decoding.

Magix provided me the closed source SDK to build a plugin for Vegas. I finished already like 90% of it and provided a first test version to them. They are currently checking for any possible legal issues with that plugin. I am grateful for this, as I couldn't afford a lawyer who does this work. I will release a first beta version as soon as I get a positive result back from them.

Thats really strange. I have no clue what could be the reason. If you install "windbg" I could send you a debug version of voukoder. That way we could see the low level error log.

Not yet. It should be similar, but i am not aware if they have session limits or similar tools.

Please also check if other programs can use nvenc (i.e. OBS, ffmpeg.exe, ...).

Please do a clean new installation of the video card drivers and make sure they are up to date.

Did you check for a free nvenc session (as the error message says?)

I have some big news to announce! Voukoder will be available for Magix Vegas soon! This is a big step forward for this project and gets Vegas access to all the great encoders (x264, x265, ProRes, FDK AAC, ...).

I talked alot with Magix over the last weeks and they gave me access to the components needed to build a "Voukoder for Vegas". Follow me on twitter to stay up to date with the progress I make and please consider supporting this open source project.

A video exporter for PhotoShop? I didn't know you can export videos with PS.

It's a nasty bug. We had it before and I thought I'd have fixed it.

This is what it currently looks like. It will completely replace the "Log" view in the voukoder dialog.

If you click on "View" it will show the log in notepad already, so no custom UI is needed.

This should be fixed now.
