Voukoder Pro 2026 freezing at 0 frames / 0i FPS in Boris FX VEGAS Pro 26

  • Hello,

I am experiencing a critical issue with Voukoder Pro 2026 (Version 3.2.2) in Boris FX VEGAS Pro 26 on Windows. I have a valid paid license serial number activated in the Designer, but I am unable to start any render process.

    The Problem:
In the VEGAS Pro "Render As" window, as soon as I select my Voukoder Pro template and assign my saved scene, the format details freeze permanently.

    • It shows 0 Hz, 0 channels for audio.
    • It shows a red 0i FPS for video (the "i" remains even if the VEGAS project properties are strictly set to progressive scan / 2160p).
    • The estimated file size remains stuck at 0.0 MB / 0.0 B.
    • When trying to render, it immediately creates a 0-byte file without processing a single frame.

What I have already done to troubleshoot:

    1. Performed a clean reinstall of the latest FFmpeg 8 GPL shared DLL libraries and Voukoder Pro 2026, making sure the connector files are placed directly into the correct VEGAS FileIO Plug-Ins subdirectory without any manual renaming or path modifications.
    2. Hard-reset VEGAS Pro 26 (clearing all application cache data on startup).
    3. Verified the scene configuration in the external Voukoder Pro Designer. The node chain is correctly mapped (Video Input -> Nvidia AV1 Encoder -> MP4/MKV Muxer).
    4. Tested with standard conservative rendering values (Quantizer set to 20, standard 3840x2160 resolution).
    5. Changed the VEGAS project properties Alt + Enter pixel format to 8-bit and forced the Deinterlace method to "Interpolate", yet the interface keeps reporting "0i FPS".

It seems like the interface communication (IPC bridge) between VEGAS Pro 26 and the Voukoder background process is completely blocked on data exchange, failing to read the timeline specs.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? Please let me know which specific log sections or configurations you need to pinpoint this bug.

See the dditional note and the photo. When I keep the project at 8-bit, the "32-bit" indicator in the final rendering window appears white. If I change the project settings in Vegas to 32-bit (video levels), the "32-bit" indicator turns red, as shown in the last image.

    Best regards,
