Yes I think that makes long-term testing a lot more accessible. If you're like me, it's difficult to fully explore a new (and complicated) program in the 2 week trial period. But for a small fee, you can test drive it for basically as long as you want.

Seems kind of silly to allow 5 different computers to run on one license, but only one render at a time per computer. I paid for the computer, I think I should be allowed to use it to it's full potential.

Makes sense, they've been fire-saling Vegas Pro licenses for years. So you can bet the new owners will go to a subscription-based licenses instead, like Adobe. X(
