    Could you be so kind and release this fix earlier than October 1st? Vegas Pro 23 was released one week ago and without this codec I am not able to render anything to my goal container and video and audio codec. Now VP23 is useless for me. I do apprieciate if you were able to release it earlier than October 1st.

  • AV1 codec - settings to keep the best possible quality

    Can you share with me what settings I should set to keep the best possible quality using AV1 codec in Voukouder?

    My input video files are encoded in:
    - 4K 50p/100p

    - bitrate: 212 Mbps

    - encoded in SLOG3

    - 4:2:2 color profile

    - 10 bits

    - High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC)

    - Profile: Format Range@L5.2@High


    I have been using Vegas Pro 21.



    1) What are the differences between ultra quality vs best quality? Is ultra quality better than best quality?

    2) I`ve noticed that I cannot render video in Vegas Pro when I set "Profile" to "High" using AV1 codec.

    3) Does Constant Rate Factor set to 10/13 in AV1 codec let me achieve better quality than using bitrate 100 Mbps?

    4) Does slow rendering with AV1 codec let me keep the best quality of final video output?

    5) Will setting bitrate to 100 Mbps in AV1 codec with comparision to 212 Mbps from input file, reduce strongly quality in output video?

    6) Why AV1 codec is limited to up 100 Mbps for output video?
